My K2 didn't have the 160m option and although I'm not active on 160m, I was charmed of the RX antenna option in that module. When I wanted to buy at the German webshop QRP-Project ( https://www.qrpproject.de/ ) , they just stopped due to part problems, part cost etc, and also Elecraft  didn't have it in stock. At that time there weren't any EU re-sellers any more, and when you order something from the US, shipping cost, import and customs taxes etc, double the price for this module. So I accepted it that for now that module wouldn't entering my K2 in the near future.

But then I found a old post on http://om4aa.radioklub.sk/2011/03/k2-k160rx-modul-home-made.html. This post describes a home made 160m module, and the relays where the hardest parts to find. Because I wanted to have to K60XV option I already wanted to buy some parts from Elecraft to build the absolete K2 K60XV option (see : K2 K60XV the hard way. ) I could just increment the number or relays in that order. The rest of the parts aren't that hard to find.

So once I had the relays, I re-drawn the PCB based on the Elecraft K160RX manual, ordered the parts from local suppliers and I got the 160M / RX option.
The original  toroid cores are hard to find, so I used standard T80-2 cores and re-calculated the number of turns to match the inductance.
